Tag Crazy!

Wow! I have been making tags like crazy for my Etsy Shoppe! I have even had some more custom orders! I have been in the cave for hours and hours everyday! So much fun! I have sent orders out to many states in the US and to Canada, Hawaii, and Australia! Pretty amazing!

I have added a new feature to my blog. I added a slide show from flickr. I hope you enjoy it! I will load more photos soon. For those of you who are blog-savvy, please be patient with my slow learning! I still can't figure out how to load my pictures on my page where I want them! Ahhh! It says"layout", but they never seem to go where I want them! They screw up my paragraphs too! If you are reading this and can help me, please comment and give me a clue!

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins!

Last Saturday we went to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm out in Wheatland. We joined Michele (Nick's girlfriend) and her family and had a great day. It was sunny and warm, just beautiful! I love photos from the pumpkin patch. The blue sky against the bright green and orange of the pumpkins is gorgeous! So I had to take lots of photos-193 to be exact!

These are a few of my favorites. I loved the photos of the flowers too. They had mums and roses and sunflowers all over the grounds. I took lots of photos of the kids too. They had so much fun. Michele's dad mentioned how funny it is that last year the Pumpkin Patch was "lame" but this year it is cool! The little lovebirds will do anything to spend time together now! I benefited from this bargain! I love the pumpkin patch!

Just had to show a picture of the little tag at the top of the page that I made one night. I was just playing around and it turned out cute. Hope you like it!

Copic Marker Workshop

Friday, February 17, 2017, 1 pm- 4 pm

Learn the basics of coloring with Copic Markers as we work through my specially designed workbook. You will learn the how's and the why's of Copics and also get to practice lots of techniques like brush strokes and blending. Most students improve greatly from beginning to end. This is a great class for beginners and also for those who are struggling a bit to achieve the looks they would like.

A meeting where Copics enthusiasts practice and share their Copic techniques. Scheduled for the last Tuesday of every month. A light lunch is provided. Students are required to bring their own projects and supplies. If you are a beginner, it is recommended that you take Copic Marker Workshop first.

Once you have mastered the basics with Copics ( blending, brush strokes, color families ) you will want to try these advanced techniques. Some of the topics we will cover are lighting/shading, hair & skin color, and challenging subjects to color.

Alcohol Ink Boot Camp

(Not currently scheduled, but available by request.)

Attention! All recruits must report to The Stamp Art Shoppe to complete this basic training! Fabulously fun techniques and "playtime" to create your own cards. If you have alcohol inks at home that just sit there and stare at you, this is a must.
